Secondary and Postsecondary\/Collegiate members compete in dozens of different events varying from skilled to knowledge. A guest speaker attends and speaks to members on certain topics typically pertaining to the medical industry and life lessons, and is followed by a relaxing down time session. Come the end of the day, awards are distributed to each event\u2019s top 8 participants where the top 5 later advance to compete in the State Leadership Conference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When &#8211; February 4, 2023, 9am &#8211; 5pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Where: Cumberland County Technical Education Center, Vineland, NJ<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Registration deadline: Dec 12, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/njhosa.org\/staging\/1430\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/2023_list_regional_conference_events.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Download 2023 List of Events<\/strong><\/a> <strong>(pdf)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Conference limits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to safety reasons, we are limiting the attendance. For NRC, there will be a maximum of 650 people and SRC will allow a maximum of 550 people.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\"><strong>A maximum of 5 competitors are allowed per event<\/strong>. Students are allowed to compete in one event only.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">The maximum attendance will be based on your chapter membership as follows. If more space is still available after the registration deadline, we will notify you. Even though there is no charge to attend the conference, please make sure all advisors and chaperones are registered so we have an accurate head count.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Changes:<\/strong> this year, Clinical Nursing and Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking are now State only events. Clinical Nursing is now open only to postsecondary\/collegiate members.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Payments:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Fees must be sent to us at Kean University. If you need a w-9 form, please let me know.<\/li>\n<li>No changes, alternates, or substitutions are allowed 2 weeks prior to the conference.<\/li>\n<li>If students are self paying, please make sure payment is in hand before registering them.<\/li>\n<li>No refunds will be issued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dress code:<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents are required to dress as per the NJ dress code. <a href=\"https:\/\/njhosa.org\/staging\/1430\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/NJHOSADressCode.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download NJ HOSA Dress Code<\/a> (pdf)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photo IDs:<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents will be required to show their ID to judges.
