CHAPTER AFFILIATION
All New Jersey HOSA chapters affiliate through the official HOSA–Future Health Professionals membership system.

Returning chapters should use their existing chapter charter number and login credentials. New chapters must first complete the New Jersey HOSA chapter approval and chartering process before affiliating members.

Chapter Advisors are encouraged to complete affiliation as early as possible during the membership year. Members must be properly affiliated in order to participate in HOSA programs, conferences, competitive events, recognition programs, and other membership opportunities.
GETTING STARTED AS A CHAPTER ADVISOR
New Chapter Advisors should begin by reviewing HOSA’s advisor resources and becoming familiar with the responsibilities of operating a local HOSA chapter.
Advisors should also ensure that their chapter:
- Maintains accurate membership and affiliation records;
- Establishes local chapter officers and leadership opportunities;
- Reviews New Jersey HOSA and National HOSA policies;
- Participates in state and national programs and conferences;
- Reviews Competitive Events Program guidelines;
- Communicates important deadlines and opportunities to members; and
- Maintains all required school and district approvals for chapter activities and travel.
New Jersey HOSA regularly communicates important information to Chapter Advisors throughout the membership year. Advisors should carefully review all State Advisor Updates and other communications from the New Jersey HOSA State Office.
