2025-2026 State Executive Council Officers

Tvisha Reikhy

Tvisha Reikhy

President

Future Career Goal: Immunologist

Favorite Quote: “To be the best, you have to constantly be challenging yourself, raising the bar, pushing the limits of what you can do. Don’t stand still, leap forward.”- Ronda Rousey

Bio: Entering Livingston High School as a barely 5 foot freshman, Tvisha wandered the hallways, lost, with her head down. That is, until she walked into the health science classroom and was greeted with an enormous “HOSA” banner, rocking its shades of medical white, maroon, and navy blue. From the seniors who took her under their wing despite their “senioritis” to her advisors who brought munchkins on early morning bus rides to SLC, HOSA is where she found her family. With encouragement, she slowly became more outspoken, leading chapter meetings, advocating for healthcare needs with her town’s public health department alongside HOSA members, and her scariest moment, volunteering for don’t forget the lyrics despite her terrible singing. HOSA helped to shape her into the confident leader she is today, and hopes to help others do the same. Since becoming a State Officer, she has focused her energy on forming personal connections with the members, helping to grow the ever changing NJ HOSA family. As State President, she hopes to help each individual become their own “Champion of Change”, encouraging the members to push themselves out of their comfort zone and blossom into the best version they can be.

Jasmine began her HOSA journey as a freshman, drawn to the organization’s unique blend of leadership and community service. Over the years, she discovered a community of peers who share her passion for healthcare. She credits HOSA with strengthening her confidence as a leader and providing the foundation for her pursuit of a career in medicine. As President-Elect, Jasmine strives to connect members by amplifying their voices and ensuring every student feels supported and inspired. Guided by this year’s International HOSA theme, “Champions of Change,” she is committed to serving with collaboration, compassion, and vision. Saanvi Naralasetti

Northern Regional Vice President

Future Career Goal: Pediatric Neurologist

Favorite Quote: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” – Nelson Mandela

Bio: For Saanvi, HOSA has always been a place where she felt celebrated and supported. What began as curiosity quickly transformed into a passion to compete, connect, and grow. Whether it was late-night study sessions, moments of encouragement from teammates, or the thrill of meeting members from across the state, Saanvi realized that HOSA was more than just an organization: it was a community. As a senior at the Morris County School of Technology and serving as the Northern Regional Vice President, Saanvi’s journey started freshman year with a love for healthcare sciences. From running for her school’s office to competing at ILC, these experiences inspired her to keep going and rise to the challenge. This year, Saanvi embraces the theme of Champion of Change by listening and connecting to members so every competitor can succeed. She plans to change the mindset that HOSA is just a win or a loss, but rather a family. With every competition, conversation, and connection, Saanvi hopes to inspire others the same way HOSA inspired her, and help each member write their own HOSA story.

Shivali Pandya

Favorite Quote: “Don’t follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Bio: For Shivali, HOSA has always been a place welcoming growth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She still remembers waking up at the crack of dawn before her school’s mock conference—not to practice a speech, but to make sure she got food first. Or when she ended up in a volleyball game with board members during events, reminding her that HOSA bonds can be built anywhere. Now a senior at South Brunswick High School and proudly serving as the Central Region Vice President, Shivali looks back on her journey with gratitude. What started freshman year as curiosity about healthcare turned into a whirlwind of study sessions, conferences, and friendships that felt like family. Each moment, whether celebrating a win, supporting a teammate, or meeting members across the states, Shivali in her years as a member has seen that HOSA isn’t just an organization, it’s an experience. This year, Shivali is ready to keep the energy high and the connections real. Whether it’s through competitions, conversations, or those little in-between moments, she hopes to make HOSA feel like a celebration for every member. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about the medals but about making sure that everyone feels like they’re invited.

From speaking in front of a large crowd for the first time to confidently dancing on stage, she is so grateful for the experiences HOSA has had to offer. In her free time, Marina tries to be a positive influence on the world through service and advocacy, and hopes to weave these elements into her HOSA community. As a Champion of Change, Marina recognizes the potential each member has to become empowering leaders in the future of healthcare. Through her term, Marina is excited to elicit this positive change by ensuring that everyone has the necessary resources and guidance to support their HOSA journey.

Shiv Subbiah

Shiv Subbiah

Post-Secondary/Collegiate Vice President

Future Career Goal: Orthopedic Surgeon

Favorite Quote: “I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.” – Thomas Jefferson

Bio: A student in the Honors College at Rutgers University, Shiv is majoring in Chemical Biology and pursuing a career in medicine. Outside the lecture hall, he represents Team India as a competitive skier, racing in international events around the world. Balancing academics, athletics, and leadership, Shiv brings the same dedication to every arena he steps into. His HOSA journey began as a high school freshman searching for an activity to develop outside the classroom. What he found was a community that inspired him to lead and serve. From late-night competition practice to friendships formed in crowded conference halls, HOSA gave him a place to flourish and the drive to create that feeling for others. Now serving as your Postsecondary/Collegiate Vice President, Shiv is committed to helping members see that leadership is about connection: noticing people, believing in their potential, and creating opportunities for them to shine.

Kevin Benedict

Kevin Benedict

Secretary

Future Career Goal: Neurosurgeon

Favorite Quote: Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill

Bio: As soon as he discovered HOSA his sophomore year at CJCP, Kevin’s passion for healthcare and leadership found the perfect home. Initially joining to find a place within the world of CTSO’s, Kevin’s HOSA journey had just begun. Through his first local chapter leadership role, Kevin quickly understood the impact HOSA had for his school community as he advocated for increased membership, planned fundraising events, and ran for his school’s office. Now as a rising senior at CJCP, Kevin strives to embody the HOSA spirit by serving as the 2025-2026 State Secretary. Kevin’s belief is that a leader doesn’t merely serve to wield a title, but to elevate others to reach areas of their lives they haven’t seen possible. Throughout his term, Kevin hopes to deep root his service in the value of kindness and wished to elevate and connect with NJ HOSA’s membership.

Shreenidhi Ravishankar

Shreenidhi Ravishankar

Historian

Future Career Goal: Neurologist

Favorite Quote: “Lean forward into your life…catch the best bits and the finest wind. Just tip your feathers in flight a wee bit and see how dramatically that small lean can change your life.” – Mary Anne Radmacher

Now, as a senior serving as our 2025-2026 NJ HOSA Historian, she can hardly believe the impact HOSA has had on her life. More than empowering her as a leader and guiding her into the world of healthcare, HOSA has taught Shreenidhi that every stumble is simply another chance to stand taller. This year, Shreenidhi is beyond excited to create a space for every member to shine and is dedicated to giving back to a community that feels like family. From cheering members on through their events to capturing every laugh on her camera roll (she’ll definitely need more storage), she is so grateful for the chance to serve NJ HOSA as Historian. She cannot wait to see each member step into their closed-toed black or blue shoes and step forward into this year as a true Champion of Change.
